DeWalt’s history stretches all the way back to 1922 when founder, Raymond DeWalt, finalized the first woodworking machine. This led to the official start for the DeWalt company two years later in 1924 where their focus was on producing the same “Wonder-Worker” machine that could be set up in nine different configurations. DeWalt continued to grow over the decades finally introducing their first portable power tools in 1992 and many other innovations such as the ability to track tools via Bluetooth which was introduced in 2015.
