It has a 3:1 shrink ratio and is coated with a thermoplastic sealant for water resistance. This sleeve is made from flame-retardant polyolefin and is flexible on top of being durable. This medium wall tubing also offers resistance to corrosion, abrasions and chemicals.3Mâ„¢ Heat Shrink Cable Sleeve MDT isa flame retardant sleeve offers reliable performance for electrical splices, connections and terminations. The factory applied, heat activated, thermoplastic sealant acts as a barrier against adverse environmental conditions. It is fast shrinking for easy handling and installation while maintaining maximum operating reliability and system protection. It withstands temperatures of 67 to 230 degrees F ( 55 to 110 degrees C). ABS, SAE AS23053/15, Class 2 Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
